Recorded by Artavazd Sakanyan in the Stepanavan region in 1958. The tale was told by Benik Tumanyan, a 43-year-old resident of Stepanavan, an employee of the regional council executive committee’s social welfare department, an accountant, a disabled veteran of the Eastern Front, with a secondary education.
